The list of teams that progressed from the play-offs into the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League has now been completed, with eight clubs confirming their places.
On Wednesday night, four teams secured qualification. They are Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Atalanta and Galatasaray.
Real Madrid advanced after a narrow 1-0 victory over Benfica in the first leg played in Portugal. In the return fixture at the Bernabeu, Rafa Silva put the visitors ahead, but the Spanish side responded through goals from Aurelien Tchouameni and Vinicius Junior to seal progression.
Paris Saint-Germain moved on after a 2-2 draw against Monaco. Their earlier 3-2 win in the first leg ensured they advanced on aggregate.
Atalanta overcame Borussia Dortmund after a dramatic encounter in Bergamo. Lazar Samardzic converted a late penalty that gave the Italian side a 4-1 win on the night and a 4-3 aggregate victory.
Galatasaray also booked their place after a tough clash with Juventus. The Turkish side scored twice in extra time to progress with a 7-5 aggregate result.
The four teams join Bodo/Glimt, Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen and Newcastle United in the draw scheduled for Friday.
