Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has publicly criticised Arise Television anchor Rufai Oseni in a viral video circulating on social media.

In the clip, Edochie questioned Oseni’s moral authority to challenge political leaders on national television, referencing a past incident in Lagos where the broadcaster was reportedly caught driving on a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) lane.

“Is this not the same Rufai Oseni that was caught driving on BRT lane?” Edochie asked, alleging that the presenter only apologised after a video of the incident surfaced online.

The actor also accused Oseni of being disrespectful to guests during interviews. “How can you invite somebody and make the guest uncomfortable?” he queried, criticising what he described as a confrontational style of journalism.

Defending , Edochie urged critics to show respect to the President and allow his administration more time, stating that progress takes time.
