The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, says Nigeria’s security is steadily getting better, with 2024 recording the lowest number of internal security attacks in recent years.
Speaking in Abuja, the CDS credited the progress to enhanced border control and stronger coordination among security agencies.
He urged citizens to support ongoing efforts by avoiding any dealings with terrorists or bandits, warning that such actions only worsen insecurity.
While challenges still exist, General Musa expressed confidence in the nation’s path toward lasting peace and called for continued collaboration between civilians and the military.
