Former two-time heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua, was seen on Monday attending the funeral of his close friends and key members of his training team, Sina Ghami and Abdul Latif “Latz” Ayodele, in London.
The burial took place at Hendon Cemetery and Crematorium in North London, following an emotional joint Janaza prayer earlier held at the London Central Mosque. The prayer brought together family members, friends, and associates who came to mourn and honour the lives of the two men.
Sina Ghami, Joshua’s strength and conditioning coach, and Abdul Latif “Latz” Ayodele, his longtime personal trainer, both died in a tragic car crash in Nigeria. Their sudden deaths sent shockwaves through the boxing community and deeply affected fans of the British-Nigerian boxing star.
Anthony Joshua arrived quietly at the cemetery and appeared visibly somber as he paid his final respects. He stood alongside grieving families, close friends, and colleagues to honour the men who played important roles in his personal and professional journey.
