Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has complied with the directive of the Federal High Court in Abuja to present his defence against terrorism charges filed by the Federal Government.

Kanu is currently filing his defence documents inside the courtroom, as instructed by Justice James Omotosho.

Following multiple complaints by Kanu, the judge ordered that the court’s registry be temporarily relocated to his courtroom to make the process easier.

Counsel to the Federal Government, Adegboyega Awomolo, confirmed to the court that he would accept the defence documents from Kanu within the courtroom and respond appropriately.

As of the time of this report, filing was still in progress, with Justice Omotosho standing down proceedings for one hour to allow completion.
