The Managing Director of Kano Zoo, Sadik Kura Muhammad, has confirmed the recovery of a python that escaped from the residence of former Accountant General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris.
The snake’s escape sparked fear among residents of Daneji and nearby communities, including Mandawari, Kabara, and Soron Dinki. The python, along with a crocodile and a cub also found in the house, has been evacuated to the Kano Zoo.
Locals said they were unable to sleep peacefully until the python was captured and removed.
