The Federal Government has officially declared a seven-day national mourning period following the death of a prominent national figure.
The declaration was announced by the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo through a statement issued by the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Dr. Magdalene Ajani.
This comes in line with the directive of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who ordered the mourning period as a mark of respect and national reflection.
