Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has highlighted his administration’s achievements across key sectors in the last two and a half years, despite economic challenges.

In health, he noted the recruitment of 500 professionals, creation of the Kano State Centre for Disease Control, and introduction of free caesarean services.

On agriculture, he cited ₦1bn fertiliser distribution to 52,800 farmers and a ₦16bn irrigation project at Jakara Dam.

The governor also mentioned the rehabilitation of 17 city roads, ₦27bn interchange projects, revival of the Tamburawa Water Plant, and new pumping machines.
