The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has reported that Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 4.07 percent year-on-year in real terms in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The figure was released in the bureau’s latest GDP report published on Friday.

According to the NBS, the latest growth rate shows an improvement when compared to the 3.76 percent recorded in the corresponding period of 2024.

The report highlights a steady expansion in the country’s economic performance within the period under review.

The NBS serves as Nigeria’s official body responsible for producing and managing national statistics. It remains the primary source of verified data on the country’s economic and social activities.

The latest GDP figures provide insight into the pace of economic growth as Nigeria continues to navigate fiscal and monetary challenges.
