A suspected phone thief has allegedly stolen the mobile phone of the Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Barrister Sule Shu’aibu (SAN), during a public event in Kaduna on Thursday.

The incident reportedly occurred at a security-related gathering attended by top government officials and security personnel. Despite the tight security at the venue, the suspect was said to have made away with the commissioner’s phone unnoticed.

The incident has sparked questions about how such a theft could occur at an event organized by security agencies.

As of the time of filing this report, the identity of the suspect remains unknown, and no official statement has been released by the Kaduna State Government or the Commissioner’s office regarding the incident.

Security sources, however, confirmed that investigations are underway to trace the stolen device and identify the culprit.
