The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has released his prophecies for 2026, expressing optimism about Nigeria’s economic and social outlook.

In a viral video circulating online, Pastor Adeboye said hunger in Nigeria would reduce in 2026 and the long-running “japa” trend, where Nigerians leave the country in search of better opportunities, would begin to reverse.

According to him, the new year would mark a turning point for the country, with easing economic pressure and gradual improvement in living conditions. He stated that Nigerians currently living abroad would begin to find reasons to return home, pointing to improved opportunities, stability, and a better national outlook.

The prophecy touches on two major issues affecting the country: widespread food hardship and mass migration. Pastor Adeboye said 2026 would bring relief in these areas, renewing hope for many citizens.

His message has sparked widespread reactions online. While some Nigerians welcomed the prophecy with optimism, others described it as a timely message of hope amid rising food prices and economic challenges.
