President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated former Vice President Namadi Sambo on his turbaning as the Sardaunan Zazzau by the Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, on Saturday, October 11.
In a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu described the title as a reflection of the Emirate’s confidence in the former vice president’s wisdom, integrity, and commitment to societal progress.
The President lauded Sambo’s humility, statesmanship, and contributions to national development, saying his investiture underscores his lifelong service to community and country.
Tinubu also commended the Emir for sustaining the tradition of honouring individuals whose character and leadership embody the values of unity, service, and integrity.
He wished the former vice president success in his new traditional role and urged him to continue inspiring younger generations and supporting peace and development efforts nationwide.
