President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has met with Dauda Lawal at the State House in Abuja to discuss rising insecurity and other key issues in Zamfara State.

The meeting focused mainly on the worsening security situation in the state, alongside political and economic challenges.

According to a statement by the governor’s spokesperson, Sulaiman Idris, Governor Lawal briefed the President on efforts already made to tackle insecurity and highlighted areas where more action is needed to achieve lasting peace.

In response, Tinubu assured the governor of the federal government’s support, promising to strengthen security operations in the state.
