Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, has urged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State to continue supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his efforts to bring prosperity to Nigeria.

Speaking at a strategic meeting of APC stakeholders in Kano on Monday, Barau stressed that the party in the state has been “growing from strength to strength” due to President Tinubu’s interventions to ease the suffering of Nigerians.

According to him, the meeting reviewed the performance of the party both in Kano and nationwide, with participants unanimously acknowledging the President’s achievements, including ongoing projects across the North and key federal appointments given to indigenes of Kano and the wider region.

“We are solely behind him, as stated by the former National Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje. We are behind him because he loves us,” Barau said.

He further noted that President Tinubu had never failed to deliver on requests made for the development of Kano, citing the establishment of institutions and other infrastructure projects.
