Troops of the 3 Division/Joint Task Force Operation Enduring Peace (JTF OPEP) have recovered arms and ammunition from a suspected bandits’ hideout in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Acting on credible intelligence, the troops raided a hideout at Rawaya Village near Kazok, where the suspect fled before their arrival.Items recovered include two AK-47 rifles, one G3 rifle, a revolver pistol, several magazines, 1,198 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, and mobile phones.

According to Major Samson Nantip Zhakom, Media Information Officer of Operation Enduring Peace, the recovered items are in custody while efforts are ongoing to arrest the fleeing suspect and his collaborators.

He assured that the operation remains committed to sustaining its onslaught against criminal elements in Plateau State and beyond.
