United States President Donald Trump has described Israel as a strong ally of the United States of America.
He made the remark in a post shared on his Truth Social account on Saturday.
“Whether people like Israel or not, they have proven to be a great ally of the United States of America,” Trump wrote.
Trump said Israel is courageous, bold, loyal and smart. He also said the country has shown its character during moments of conflict and pressure.
He further stated that the Middle East nation fights with determination and understands how to secure victory.
The United States and Israel have maintained a long-standing alliance over the years.
It is also recalled that both countries have been linked to the ongoing crisis in Iran, which began on February 28.
