Victor Osimhen delivered a crucial performance as he scored the goal that helped Galatasaray knock Juventus out of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.

Galatasaray arrived in Turin with a strong 5-2 advantage from the first leg. Juventus responded well in the return match and dominated large periods of the game. Manuel Locatelli opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 37th minute. Federico Gatti added a second goal in the 70th minute to give the hosts hope.

Weston McKennie later scored with a header that pushed the match into extra time. The game remained tense as both sides searched for a breakthrough.

Osimhen then made the difference before the end of the first half of extra time. He connected with a pass and restored Galatasaray’s lead in the tie. His goal shifted momentum back to the Turkish side at a critical moment.

Baris Alper Yilmaz added another goal on the counter-attack to seal qualification for Galatasaray, as they progressed to the Round of 16.
