Kaka Igbokwe, former manager of Nigerian music icon Innocent “2Face” Idibia, has confirmed that the singer was arrested in London after a heated public altercation with his pregnant wife, Natasha Osawaru.
2Face had travelled to the UK with Natasha—who is a lawmaker in the Edo State House of Assembly—for a concert tour. However, he failed to appear at his scheduled performance on October 2, 2025, sparking rumours that he had been detained.
Speaking during an Instagram Live session with Daddy Freeze, Kaka, son of the late music legend Christy Essien-Igbokwe, said the rumours were true. He was part of the team that travelled with the couple and witnessed the incident firsthand.
Kaka explained that the altercation began after they arrived at the airport. According to him, Natasha became upset when she felt 2Face had abandoned her and walked away with fans who guided him into a shop. Realising she had been left behind, 2Face rushed back, but Natasha confronted him angrily.
The confrontation escalated, resulting in the singer being arrested and handcuffed by UK authorities.
A video of the arrest, posted on TikTok by blogger Tosin Silverdam on December 1, 2025, has since reignited public debate on social media.
