Manchester City have become the first team to qualify for the semi-finals of this season’s FA Cup after a dominant 4-0 victory over Liverpool.
Managed by Pep Guardiola, City delivered an impressive performance in the quarter-final played on Saturday.
Erling Haaland opened the scoring from the penalty spot after Nico O’Reilly was fouled in the box. Haaland then doubled the lead with a header before half-time.
Early in the second half, Antoine Semenyo added a third goal after a well-worked team move. Haaland later completed his hat-trick to seal a convincing win for City.
In other quarter-final fixtures, Arsenal will face Southampton, while Chelsea will take on Port Vale.
