Renowned Nigerian dancer Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau, popularly known as Kaffy, will headline the “Power of Collaboration” forum organized by the GAH Elite Club to mark International Women’s Day (IWD) 2026. The event, scheduled for April 11 in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, will bring together leading female voices across diverse sectors to highlight the importance of unity, creativity, and shared purpose.

Other notable figures expected at the forum include cultural leader Yeye Falashade Shona, Ambassador Dr. Kirti Sudhanshu, Dr. Carolyna Hutchings, media personality Anita Natacha (Symply Tacha), strategist Abiola Adelana, entrepreneur Delphine Okoronkwo, Seyi Amao, Esohe Igbinobia, and Adaeze Chioma Ahubarezeama. The programme will feature keynote addresses and panel discussions covering education, finance, media, enterprise, and leadership.

In a statement signed by Media Consultant Bolatito Adebola, GAH Elite Club Founder Princess Oghene described the initiative as a platform designed to deepen global conversations on women’s empowerment while delivering measurable outcomes. She emphasized that the 2026 edition moves beyond symbolic celebration toward actionable engagement. “We are moving beyond celebration into structure; beyond conversations into execution. This is where women stop showing up randomly and start showing up strategically,” she said.

Oghene explained that the theme reflects a deliberate shift toward intentional alliances among women. She noted that the framework for IWD 2026 is structured to address gaps in collaboration among high-impact women. Focus areas include strategic positioning and visibility, cross-industry partnerships, enterprise growth, wealth creation, leadership influence, policy engagement, and media representation.

“This is not an attendance-driven event; it is an outcome-driven platform showcasing the measurable impact of women in society,” she added. Speakers were selected based on proven track records in leadership, resilience, and execution, ensuring that the gathering will convene corporate executives, entrepreneurs, global professionals, and media leaders.
