The soundtrack of the video — Burna Boy’s 2018 hit On The Low — plays a key role in its reception. The song’s lyrics about quiet confidence mirror Hakimi’s calm yet dominant presence throughout the 2024–25 season.

Hakimi was crowned the CAF 2025 Men’s Player of the Year, to become the first defender in 52 years to claim the honour.

The 27-year-old enjoyed an outstanding campaign for both Paris Saint-Germain and the Moroccan national team with goals, assists, and a commanding defensive displays throughout the season.

His performances in Ligue 1, the Champions League, and Morocco’s international fixtures placed him ahead of fellow finalists Mohamed Salah and Victor Osimhen.
