The Premier League’s January transfer window was defined by heavy spending, bold reinvestment, and a continued focus on young, high-potential talent, with Antoine Semenyo emerging as the most expensive signing of the month.

1) Antoine Semenyo – Manchester City
From Bournemouth – £62.5m–£64m (~€72m)
Semenyo was the standout signing of the window, with City breaking the £60m mark to secure the forward.

2) Jeremy Jacquet – Liverpool
From Rennes – £55.5m–£60m (~€63.6m)
Liverpool reached an agreement for the highly rated 20-year-old centre-back, who is set to move to Anfield in the summer.

3) Jørgen Strand Larsen – Crystal Palace
From Wolves – £43m–£48m (~€49.7m)
Palace backed their attack with a major investment in the Norwegian striker.

4) Conor Gallagher – Tottenham Hotspur
From Atlético Madrid – £34.7m–£35m (~€40m)
Tottenham quickly reinvested funds from player sales to bring Gallagher back to the Premier League.
