Nigerian singer Harrysong has revealed that he is currently in a polygamous relationship following his separation from his wife, Alexer Peres.
Speaking in a recent interview on Yanga FM Lagos, the Reggae Blues crooner said all his girlfriends are aware of one another and are comfortable with the arrangement.
According to the father of two, there is nothing wrong with being in a polygamous relationship, as long as everyone involved is treated fairly and respectfully.
“I am currently in a polygamous relationship. All my girlfriends know each other. They are all doing well, and we are happy,” Harrysong said.
He stressed that no one was forced into the relationship and that everyone involved willingly accepted the arrangement.
“Everybody is being treated right and respectfully. Everyone willingly joined. No one was forced,” he added.
Harrysong also dismissed criticisms of polygamy, arguing that people should be allowed to live their lives as they see fit. He cited American singer Ne-Yo as an example.
“Neyo has three wives. Just do whatever makes you happy. Don’t force your opinion on anyone,” he said.
The singer further disclosed that some of his girlfriends are foreigners, including an American.
It would be recalled that Harrysong and his ex-wife, Alexer Peres, separated in 2024 after three years of marriage. Following their split, the singer accused Alexer of getting pregnant for another man while they were still living together and claimed they had not been intimate for over a year.
Alexer, however, denied the allegations, accusing Harrysong of domestic violence and claiming he cheated on her on their wedding night.
