Nigerian rap star Olamide has teamed up once again with his former signee, Asake, as he gears up to release his new album titled Olamide, set to drop on June 18, 2025.

The upcoming project is expected to feature a star-studded lineup including Young Jonn, Seyi Vibez, and British singer Daecolm. But what’s really catching fans’ attention is Asake’s appearance on a track called “99,” marking their first collaboration since Asake left YBNL Nation.

The reunion has put to rest rumors of a fallout between the two artists. Despite parting ways professionally, it’s clear their working relationship remains strong.

Asake has since launched his own label, Giran Republic, and continues to grow both as an artist and entrepreneur.

Though Asake’s departure from YBNL was surrounded by questions, this latest collaboration shows there’s still mutual respect and creative chemistry between him and Olamide.
