Famous Nigerian Afrobeat star Davido has reacted angrily after being called out over an alleged $50,000 wedding planning debt.

The singer responded on Sunday evening following reports that surfaced online claiming he owed money to the company that handled his wedding to Chioma.

According to the viral report, Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, CEO of the event planning company linked to the wedding, allegedly called out the singer over the unpaid debt. The post circulating on social media also included what was said to be a chat message from the planner, where legal action was reportedly mentioned.

Reacting on X, Davido dismissed the allegation and expressed frustration over the situation.

“This is just crazy atp (at this point),” he wrote.
