Davido’s Timeless Album Earns Silver Certification in the UK

Nigerian superstar Davido has continued his global success with his album Timeless which has now received a Silver Certification in the United Kingdom.

This recognition means the project has sold over 100,000 units in the UK alone, as stated by Chart Data.

The album was released in March 2023 and became a cultural phenomenon in the Afrobeats community. Its performance was not only astonishing but also record breaking.

Within days, the album shattered streaming records on Spotify Nigeria, Boomplay, Audiomack, and YouTube making it one of the most successful Nigerian albums of all time.

Numerically, the impact of Timeless has received was astonishing. The album earned Davido a Headies nomination for Song of The Year and landed him two Grammy nominations, one for Best Global Album and the other for Best Global Music Performance.

After releasing the album, Davido started Timeless Tour, bringing Afrobeats to some of the world’s biggest stages and showing the world the genre’s best-kept secret. From Lagos to London and New York, his sound was brought to life in front of thousands of fans.
