Deji Adeyanju Questions Authenticity of BBNaija Prize Payments

Activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju has raised doubts about whether Big Brother Naija organisers truly pay the reality show’s winners their full prize money.

The human rights advocate took to his X handle on Monday to express concern that several past winners appear financially unstable despite their supposed multimillion-naira rewards.

He wrote: “Do they really give BBNaija winners the prize money? The reason I am asking is because many of them end up looking extremely broke thereafter.”

Adeyanju’s remarks came less than 24 hours after Imisi was crowned winner of the 10th edition of Big Brother Naija, walking away with a grand prize of N150 million.

His post sparked mixed reactions online, with many fans of the show asking him to name specific former winners who ended up broke.
