Veteran music producer and executive, ID Cabasa, has encouraged Christian creatives not to avoid the secular music industry over claims that it is ungodly.
The Coded Tunes boss described such claims as false, saying they are meant to discourage Christians from participating in the industry.
According to him, the idea that the devil owns the secular music space is a misconception.
In a post on his X handle, he wrote:
“If you are a Christian creatives within the secular space please pay attention! There’s an agenda to dissuade you from taking that space with a lie that the devil own that space! The devil owns Sin and carnality ‘Yes.’ But the earth is the Lord and the fullness thereof.”
Cabasa urged Christian creatives to embrace the industry, stressing that their presence can make a positive difference.
He added:
“There’s evil in the world but there’s shortage of light which is why evil prevail.”
He reassured creatives that they can stand firm in their values while working in the space.
“Their evil cannot trump your light.”
