Popular Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Cuppy, has announced that she will be stepping away from social media for a while.
The music star shared the update on X while revealing her New Year resolution to her fans. According to her, the break is necessary so she can take time to reflect, rest, and reconnect spiritually.
Explaining her decision, Cuppy said she needs quiet time for herself and time to be closer to God. She reassured fans that she is fine and that the break is only temporary.
She wrote:
“I’m taking a short break from social media. I need some quiet time with myself & time being hidden with God. I am okay. I’m just taking a moment to reset & reconnect. I will be back.”
DJ Cuppy also disclosed that she plans to observe a 21-day fast as part of her personal preparation for the new year. She said the fasting will help her deal with some personal matters as she steps into 2026.
