Nigerian disc jockey, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has opened up about her elder sister, Tolani Otedola, describing her as the most low-key member of the family.
In a recent post, Cuppy said her sister’s calm nature carries a quiet but powerful presence, adding that true influence doesn’t need to be loud.
She wrote: “My sister @shesTolani might be the most ‘lowkey’ in our family, but in reality, her quiet strength speaks volumes. Iykyk. She reminds me that real power doesn’t need to shout up and down to be felt.”
Tolani Otedola, born on April 21, 1986, in Lagos, is the eldest daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola and his former partner, Olayinka Odukoya. She is a half-sister to DJ Cuppy and Temi Otedola.
Tolani studied psychology at the University of St Andrews in Scotland before pursuing a career in music as a singer-songwriter. Some of her popular songs include Tenderoni featuring Skales and Ba Mi Lo featuring Reekado Banks.
In 2017, she hosted a musical showcase in Lagos to mark her return to the Nigerian music scene.
Unlike her more public siblings, Tolani is known for maintaining a quiet and private lifestyle.
