Hollywood star Bryton James has filed for divorce from his wife, Jahaira Meyers, just months after their wedding.
According to TMZ, the Family Matters actor filed the divorce papers on Monday, October 13, 2025, in Los Angeles, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.
Court documents revealed that Bryton and Jahaira got married in March 2025 but separated in June of the same year. The couple had no children together. Bryton also asked the court to terminate spousal support for both parties.
The actor, best known for his long-running role on The Young and the Restless, recently appeared in the Thai romantic drama series The Young and the Ruthless (Ngao Kammathep or Cupid’s Shadow), which aired from April to June 2025.
This marks Bryton James’ second divorce. He was previously married to actress Ashley Leisinger, whom he wed in 2011 in a ceremony officiated by his Young and the Restless co-star, Christian LeBlanc. The pair divorced in 2014 without having children.
