Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has finally responded to recent comments made by Grammy-nominated artiste Seun Kuti.

Seun Kuti had, during several livestream sessions, criticized Wizkid and his fanbase, repeatedly taking shots at the Afrobeats star and questioning his influence and relevance.

Wizkid, who had remained silent amid the backlash, broke his silence on Monday, addressing Seun Kuti’s remarks via his Instagram story and X (formerly Twitter).

Reacting on Instagram, the singer wrote:
“I big pass your papa!! Wetin you don do? I’m Big Wiz everyday.”

He followed up with a more detailed response on X, where he compared Seun Kuti’s actions to those of his late father, Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti.
