American pop star Taylor Swift has assured fans that she will not quit music after getting married.
In an interview with BBC Radio 2, the “Life Of A Showgirl” singer addressed rumors suggesting she would stop making music following her engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce.
Swift dismissed the claims, saying marriage is not about giving up one’s passion or career. She emphasized that her fiancé supports her work and loves how fulfilled she feels creating music.
“It’s not why people get married, so they can quit their job. People love to panic sometimes,” she said. “I love the person I’m with because he loves what I do and how much joy I get from making art and music.”
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got engaged in August 2025 after dating for nearly two years.
