If You Enjoy Witchcraft And Premium Wickedness, Hospitality Is Not For You – Mary Njoku Speaks

Mary Njoku has shared a strong message to people working in or planning to join the hospitality industry, stressing the importance of attitude and professionalism.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, she spoke from experience, explaining that jobs that involve dealing directly with customers require patience, calmness, and a welcoming nature.

She warned that people with negative attitudes or those who enjoy being harsh to others should avoid such roles, as it can damage both customer experience and the reputation of businesses.

According to her, industries like restaurants, hotels, front desks, and visa centres demand a high level of emotional intelligence and good interpersonal skills.

She advised that individuals who struggle with maintaining a positive attitude should instead consider behind-the-scenes roles where they don’t have to interact directly with customers.

“Please, if you enjoy witchcraft, premium wickedness, hospitality is not for you. There are many other roles, such as back-office and storekeeping, where you don’t have to interact directly with customers.

Customer-facing jobs like restaurants, hotels, front desks, and visa centres require patience, professionalism, and a welcoming attitude. When that’s missing, it affects people’s experiences and hurts businesses.

This is a simple plea. If you know this isn’t your strength, please consider roles behind the scenes where you can practice your wickedness and bitterness freely with good job security. Thank you.”
