The Gaza Health Ministry says at least 66 people have been killed in Israeli airstrikes over the past 24 hours, bringing the total Palestinian death toll to 67,074 since the start of the conflict.
In a statement on Friday, the ministry added that 265 others were injured and taken to hospitals across the Gaza Strip during the same period.
It further noted that many Palestinians remain trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings due to the lack of rescue equipment and resources.
Humanitarian agencies have repeatedly warned of worsening conditions in Gaza as hospitals struggle to cope with casualties amid severe shortages of fuel, medical supplies, and personnel.
