“It’s About Mindset, Not Physique” – Uriel Offers Dating Advice to Don Jazzy

Former Big Brother Naija star, Uriel Oputa, has shared her thoughts on music executive Don Jazzy’s recent comments about relationships, urging him to rethink his approach to dating.

Don Jazzy had previously stated that he doesn’t believe he can be sexually committed to one woman.

Reacting to this on the Outside The Box podcast, Uriel suggested that his perspective might be shaped by the type of women he chooses to date.

She expressed admiration for the Mavin Records boss, describing him as an amazing person, but pointed out that his experiences might be influenced by surface-level attraction.

According to her, if he dated women who offered more than just physical appeal, his views on commitment might change.

“I love Don Jazzy so much,” she said. “But when he said he couldn’t be sexually committed to one woman, I felt like it probably comes down to the kind of women he goes for. If I ever get the chance, I’d tell him to try a different kind of woman.”

Uriel went further to say that many Nigerian men, not just Don Jazzy, focus too much on physical appearance when choosing a partner, rather than deeper qualities like character and mindset. In her view, this is why many struggle with staying committed — because they’re chasing looks rather than substance.
