Ghanaian singer Moliy has sparked controversy after taking a swipe at Nigerian rapper Zinoleesky during a heated social media exchange on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
The drama began when Moliy dismissed rumours of an upcoming collaboration with Zinoleesky, replying “Who?” to a fan post promoting the alleged song — a move many saw as a subtle jab.
Offended by her tone, Zinoleesky fired back, calling Moliy a “2 hits wonder,” adding that he barely knew her songs.
Moliy responded sharply, stating that she was glad Zinoleesky didn’t know her because she doesn’t associate with “local champions.”
“Very grateful to not be known by you. Artists that know me aren’t local champions,” she wrote.
The online feud has since gone viral, with Zinoleesky’s fans threatening to “cancel” Moliy in Nigeria.
Moliy, known for her international success, currently has two Official Charts and Billboard Hot 100 entries, with her hit “Shake It To The Max Remix” topping the US Billboard Afrobeats Chart.
