Popular Nigerian singer and Abia State Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Tourism and Entertainment, Martins Okechukwu Justice, better known as J. Martins, has narrowly escaped death after his car veered off the road and plunged into a bush.

The frightening incident occurred on Monday along the Enugu–Aba–Port Harcourt Expressway after the vehicle reportedly suffered a sudden brake failure.

According to eyewitnesses, the malfunction caused the singer’s car to skid off the highway at high speed before crashing into a thick bush.

Speaking after the ordeal, J. Martins described the experience as “terrifying,” expressing deep gratitude to God for sparing his life.

“It was a terrible experience, but I thank God for His mercy. I came out without any injury,” he said.
