Famous Nigerian singer Davido has publicly called out the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and former Osun State governor, Gboyega Oyetola, over an alleged political plan.
Davido made the statement in the early hours of Tuesday through a post shared on his X account.
In the post, the singer described Oyetola as “the most desperate politician” and claimed that his alleged plan would not succeed.
“The most desperate politician in the world is @GboyegaOyetola very embarrassing. Oyetola your plan no go work,” Davido wrote.
Although the singer did not explain the exact plan he was referring to, the post comes amid growing political tension in Osun State ahead of the governorship election scheduled for August 15, 2026.
The development also follows Davido’s recent announcement that he would temporarily suspend his music career for two months in order to actively campaign for the re-election of his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke.
