Qatar has strongly condemned the missile attack launched by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard on the Al Udeid Air Base, calling it a “blatant violation” of its sovereignty and international law.

In an official statement released by the Qatari Foreign Ministry and reported by Al Jazeera, Doha warned that it reserves the right to respond “directly and proportionally” in line with international legal frameworks.

“The attack on Al Udeid Air Base is a blatant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty, airspace, and international law,” the statement said, adding that continued escalatory military actions “will undermine security and stability in the region.”

The Al Udeid base, which hosts U.S. and allied forces, was one of the targets in Iran’s retaliatory strikes following rising tensions in the Gulf. Qatar said it remains committed to regional peace but will defend its territory if provoked.

This is a developing story.
