Taylor Swift has set another major milestone, becoming the first artist in history to debut a film, album, and song at number one in the United States at the same time.
Her new album, Life of a Showgirl, and its lead single, The Fate of Ophelia, debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 charts, respectively. In addition, her promotional film, Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl, topped the US box office this week.
The pop superstar also became the first artist ever to occupy the entire top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 on three separate occasions.
With Life of a Showgirl, Swift achieved her 15th number-one album on the Billboard 200 — the most by any solo artist in history. The project sold 4.002 million units in its first week, marking the biggest album debut worldwide.
