Nigerian actress Lilian Afegbai has revealed that she keeps her relationships and personal life completely private, even from her closest friends.
Speaking on Unfiltered and Extra Spicy, the Nollywood star explained that she is naturally secretive and does not feel comfortable sharing intimate details about her life with others.
“In real life, I do not discuss my relationship or my private life with my friends.
“I am a very secretive person, and I do not care if you say I am not trustworthy, but I will not discuss my personal life with you,” she said.
Lilian added that many people misunderstand her because she has many friends. According to her, having a large circle does not mean she is emotionally close to everyone.
“People assume because I have plenty of friends, they think I am close to everybody. I am not like that at all,” she explained.
When asked why she is so guarded, the actress said her personality was shaped by childhood experiences.
“I just have serious trust issues from childhood trauma. I am even tackling it now by seeing a therapist, and I am still a work in progress,” she added.
Her comments have sparked conversations online about privacy, trust, and personal boundaries in relationships.
