A South Korean man, YoungHoon Kim, has sparked global attention after claiming that Jesus Christ will return within the next ten years.

In a video posted on X, Kim urged Christians to prepare for the “Second Coming,” insisting that the event is near—though he admitted that he does not know the exact time or date.

His statement quickly went viral, stirring curiosity, debate, and controversy among Christian communities around the world.

Many believers saw Kim’s message as a reminder to stay spiritually prepared, while others criticized it, pointing out that the Bible clearly says no one knows the day or hour of Christ’s return.

Religious scholars and commentators also warned that such predictions can cause unnecessary fear or false expectations, urging Christians to focus instead on faith and righteous living.

Beyond his prophecy, Kim’s self-proclaimed IQ of 276 has raised further skepticism.
No official records or credible intelligence tests confirm such a score, and experts have dismissed it as scientifically implausible.

Observers say Kim’s viral claim underscores the dangers of unchecked religious and intellectual assertions on social media, where charisma often outweighs credibility.

Despite widespread criticism, Kim’s post continues to trend, reflecting the increasing influence of self-styled prophets and online visionaries in global faith conversations.
