Singer Portable has called out comedian and content creator Carter Efe after being mocked for asking ₦10 million to join a TikTok livestream.
According to reports, Carter Efe had approached Portable to feature on one of his TikTok live sessions. But things went south when Portable said he wouldn’t do it for less than ₦10 million.
Surprised by the demand, Carter Efe expressed his frustration, saying:
“How much we dey even make from the live? I just tire.”
Portable didn’t take the comment lightly. In a video, he fired back at Carter, accusing him of trying to take advantage of him — just like he allegedly did with Young Duu, his former signee.
He said:
“Thief, you ripped my boy. You carry am go Lekki, you no give am food chop, no car, no clothes. You wan use me too? Bring money first!”
The “Zazu” singer added that Young Duu might not be struggling today if he had listened to his earlier advice to charge for every appearance.
“Na Young Duu no get sense. I tell am, when dem call you, ask for money. Now dem don use am,” Portable said.
Portable’s message was clear — he’s not interested in being used for free content and believes his time and brand come at a price.
