General and operations managers rank highest on the list. The occupation is projected to record an average of 308,700 openings annually. A bachelor’s degree is required. Employers also expect at least five years of experience. The median yearly salary stands at $102,950.
Registered nursing follows with 189,100 projected openings each year. There are several academic routes into nursing. They include bachelor’s, associate’s, or diploma qualifications from approved institutions. The projection in this report focuses on those with bachelor’s degrees. Practitioners must also obtain licences before practising. The median annual wage is $93,600.
Accountants and auditors are expected to see about 124,200 vacancies yearly through 2034. Entry into the field requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related studies. Professional certification in specialised areas is also necessary. The median salary is $81,680 per year.
Software development is forecast to grow at a rate of 15 percent, which exceeds the average across occupations. The bureau estimates 115,200 yearly openings. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline is required. Prior work experience is not compulsory. Median annual pay is $133,080.
Business operations specialists are projected to have 108,200 openings each year. The role requires a bachelor’s degree. Previous job experience is not mandatory. The median yearly wage is $81,270.
Management positions across sectors are expected to generate 106,700 vacancies annually. These roles usually demand less than five years of experience. They carry the highest median salary on the list at $136,550 per year.
Management analysts will also remain in demand. The occupation is projected to grow by 9 percent between 2024 and 2034. About 98,100 openings are expected each year. A bachelor’s degree and limited work experience are required. Median annual earnings stand at $101,190.
