Atalanta striker Ademola Lookman expressed determination and optimism after scoring in the 1–1 draw against AC Milan, stressing the importance of consistency as La Dea continue their unbeaten Serie A run.

Lookman, who netted the equaliser at the Gewiss Stadium, spoke to DAZN after the match, reflecting on both his goal and his ongoing recovery of form.

“It was important to be available to the team again,” he said, as quoted by Milan Press.

“I hope to get even more fit. It took me a while, but now we have to grow and aim to win the next few games.

“When I’m on the pitch, the most important thing is to help the team win.”

The super Eagles star’s composed left-footed finish cancelled out Samuele Ricci’s early opener for Milan and marked his first goal of the season.

His strike came at a crucial time for Atalanta, who had struggled to convert dominance into results during a run of five consecutive draws.

Lookman’s return to scoring form offers a timely boost for coach Ivan Jurić, whose side have shown resilience but continue to search for a clinical edge in front of goal.

With Lookman regaining full fitness and confidence, Atalanta will look to turn their unbeaten streak into victories as they aim to climb higher in the Serie A standings.

The 28-year-old forward, who has become a key figure for both club and country, reiterated his commitment to contributing more decisive moments this season.

Atalanta next travel to face Torino, where Lookman will hope to build on his encouraging performance and inspire the Bergamo side toward a long-awaited return to winning ways
